Ipe Clip ® Hidden Deck Fasteners from DeckWise®
Get maximum hold-down power yet individual board expansion and contraction flexibility with Ipe Clip® Extreme series Hidden Deck Fasteners from DeckWise®. Available in black, gray and brown to be inconspicuous in many types of deck materials, these hidden fasteners provide perfect spacing every time. Gap spacing ranges from 3/32" or 2.38mm with the Extreme™ clips, 1/4" or 6.35mm with the ExtremeKD™, and 5/32"" or 4.00mm with the Extreme4™.
This made-in-the-USA fastener design attaches the deck board to the joist with a 45 degree deck screw on one side only, which allows decking boards to expand and contract as weather conditions change.
For boards which are not pre-grooved, slots for these small fasteners can be quickly added with a biscuit joiner or router. DeckWise® designed these patented fasteners to last by combining a UV and chemical resistant polymer outer shell with a hardened black oxide stainless steel insert molded inside the clip, adding up to 3 times more decking hold-down power. Even novice DIY deck builders won't fret about over-driving the screw heads—these clips were designed to prevent it.
